BarrySmith
Hi, I have owned an Oscommerce website for a while now and thought I would make some changes, as I normally manage to process the orders via mail. However a while back, due to repeated hacking, I was forced to change the url of the admin login. The problem is the I have lost touch with the programmer who helped out with this regard, so now am a bit lost as to what it might be. Does anyone have any ideas on this please? Thanks Barry. I have built an online store solely with the help of this forum.

Log into the domain via FTP and search for an odd/familiarly named directory .. this will no doubt be your admin directory. Look in it to check and you should see the admin files in place. germ
The folder structure is probably as indicated below, graphically speaking.. I beleive there are only two "includes" folder on a normal install. If you backup from one you get to the catalog (or root) folder. If you backup from the other you get to the (admin) folder. The (admin) folder is also normally a folder within the catalog (or root) folder. __ pub | |__ ext | |__ images | |__ ext | |__ download | __ includes |__ (admin) __/ | |__ includes catalog __/ (or root) If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
