carrzkiss
Hello All; I am in the process of re-opening my Music Store online, and seem to be having a slight problem when testing the check out process. The customer receives a confirmation e-mail, But we receive nothing?? We have the e-mail address set up in the admin area. Is it suppose to send an e-mail to us when a purchase is made?? If so. Then why isn't it sending out??? This is how it is setup : Email Address [email protected] Email From my store name <[email protected]> Please someone let me know, about receiving an email on orders placed? Thank you p.s. There are "2" active stores set up on my server, and as of right now, neither of them have reported receiving emails of orders placed? carrzkiss
I found the problem, That was not the "Headers" in the files themselves. It was this. Send Extra Order Emails To C.F.F. Promotions Order <[email protected]> I had to remove the "C.F.F. Promotions Order" Out. And it worked. But is this the only way to receive e-mails of Customers Orders???? carrzkiss
OK. "1" Very important question here. And if resolved we can wrap up this string here. Once I get setup to receive "Credit Cards" And run an "SSL" When receiving the CC #'s the email that is sent to me (I will most likely have it set up to run the Numbers Manually, Like I use to in my Local Store) The e-mail that comes from. {Send Extra Order Emails To } This is not going to be right? This is just going to show the order placed, and not the CC # information, ????? What else do I need to check in order to receive the proper e-mail? Could someone please let me know this, As I am hoping to have everything ready to bring My Music Store site live on around Monday. (Hopefully) selling Music Publication's....i.e. Guitar | Bass | Drums | Keyboard | Piano | Vocal Instuctomental. Books. Guest
Ok, you have the shop se up so that you receive a copy of the order confirmation, correct? You are planning on processing your credit card orders offline, right? To process your cards offline and get the CC numbers, first, you enable the credit card module in the admin>Modules>Payment. To enable the module click on the little green "light" . Second, click the icon on the far right of the same line, click edit, in the box that asks for the email address put the same address that is receiving the confirmation, make any other changes you wish and click update. Guest
Send Extra Order Emails ToSend extra order emails to the following email addresses, in this format: Name 1 <email@address1>, Name 2 <email@address2> Yes, in order for you to receive email notification that an order has been placed you need to have the above done. The email that you receive is a copy of the order confirmation that you customer receives.
