Guest
I have a BIG problem. While I'm able to download on my pc, I have users with the following problems: - MAC users: looks like their browser automatically tries to decompress the Zip files... and it fails at it. They get an error "decompression failed." I'm sure it can be easily changed on the browser, but I'm also sure that it will be the same for all Mac customers, and I can't go in and help each of them. - I've had 2 PC users using up all their downloads AND not getting it right. They get empty or corrupted files. They know not to touch anything while the download is processing. It's worked fine for me when it was on the test folder. It works fine for me right now. WHAT is going on?????? Thanks! Verónica

Guest
OK, update: The problem with downloaded ZIPs is on Windows and Macs, Firefox, IE and Chrome. After checkout, the item is available, you download it, and get a 'Folder...is invalid' error. The downloaded file is 2KB smaller than it should be. I can FTP the file from the folder on the server successfully. If I do not use OSCommerce, I can download the file via my web browser successfully. Yes, this sounds like a couple of other threads (http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/topic/369409-download-files-corrupted/), but applying the changes to DOWNLOAD.PHP did not help. There was an extra line after the '?>', now removed. And here's the kicker- if I disable GZIP in the Admin panel, the whole store crashes. Signing in returns an error page with this error message: Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at /Library/WebServer/Documents/catalog/includes/application_top.php:501) in /Library/WebServer/Documents/catalog/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 102 Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /Library/WebServer/Documents/catalog/includes/application_top.php:501) in /Library/WebServer/Documents/catalog/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 102 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /Library/WebServer/Documents/catalog/includes/application_top.php:501) in /Library/WebServer/Documents/catalog/includes/functions/general.php on line 45 I could really use some help on this. The site is not working, I have been banging my head against this for 3 long days. HELP!
Guest
"Funnier" yet, I ran this same exact store in a "test" folder on the SAME server and NO ONE had issues downloading (not even the Mac people who first started having this issue.)
Guest
I'm starting from scratch. I am posting this in case anyone sees it and can help me with the current store. I saw that my original topic disappeared from the forum.
