The e-commerce.

Where to post?

Hi all.

I am trying to build my first e-commerce site from scratch - and thus not using OSCommerce - but want to tap into all of the knowledge here!

My Payment Gateway is going to - supposedly - be "Internet Secure".

Where can I make posts to get help hooking up to Internet Secure and understanding how you submit information to an XML Payment Gateway?

Thanks,

Debbie,

You would have to contact the Payment Gateway provider for integration into your website. Any module or information found on this forum would be specifically for osCommerce.

Okay, but the help I'm seeking is more generic in nature. (Regardless of the software/shopping cart/payment gateway used, I assume 80% of e-commerce is the same.

And that is the part I'm hoping to some help with.

So would there be a forum that is better towards that?

Thanks,

Debbie

Not at all.

Again, I suggest contacting the Payment processor for assistance in integration into your website.

Well, unfortunately they have very poor documentation and the example they have is in ASP and I'm using PHP, so I am trying to get some help on the outside like through here.

I can post their ASP code here, but I'm trying to find someone that can help me figure out what changes I will need to make with my PHP. :(

Thanks,

Debbie
