Guest
Before I download osCommerce, I have a unique requirement of a website (a custom service rather than a product line)and would appreciate if an experienced programmer might tell me whether I could effectively alter the osCommerce programme to suit my needs. I need to be able to set up an extensive form that will transmit effectively through the SSL certificate while the client is placing the order. A sample form and page can be found at: http://www.mhacorp.com/Custom-Romance-Story-Creations/EPYN-UTC-0381.php If this type of thing is "do-able" then I can begin playing with it. Guest
Dylan, Yes, you create a custom secured form to acquire the information you want and store it in the database. This would be a custom coding job and the SQL database will need to be modified to accept the additional information but yes, it can be done. I have a few other things on my plate at the moment but I think I will go this route. Since I am not brilliant at coding, would you have any idea as to how much I should budget for this job? Guest
Dylan, I can't offer a budget amount in the open forum, however I don't think the complete project would take more than 4-5 hours to complete. Chris
