stevebob
I'm in the process of researching the best method for handling unsubscribe links in emails. Links people can click to remove themselves from our automated email process. I can't seem to find any good reference on how this should be done, think best practice. I'm assuming you'll need to disguise the email in the link or have a reference number seperate from the users email that can be used to match up the user with the link. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do this or could point me in the right direction? thanks
Xpajun
For someone to receive one of your newsletters they would first have to be a customer with an account, so that would mean that their email address would be there and they would have to access their account to unsubscribe - I believe that is how osC works. To do it remotely then the click to unsubscribe link would send out a email to the unsubscribee asking them if they really want to unsubscribe and to reply/not reply to this email My store is currently running Phoenix 1.0.3.0 I'm currently working on 1.0.7.2 and hope to get it live before 1.0.8.0 arrives (maybe 🙄 ) I used to have a list of add-ons here but I've found that with the ones that supporters of Phoenix get any other add-ons are not really neccessary
