yaaar
Don't seems to see free templates anywhere, wondering if there's a list somewhere. Thank you!
Guest
Will, Check the add on area for some templates and themes http://addons.oscommerce.com/category/Templates_and_Themes You can also google for some, but....IMO you get what you pay for. ElNaranjal
I'm afraid the answer is No. I've recently suffered a hacker attack on my OSC 2.2 RC2a store, which used a gorgeous template I've purchased from TemplateMonster a couple of years ago. Now, I'm trying to return it to life at home; after copying the old RC2a files over it, just refuses to work. I've wasted about a month looking all over the Internet a decent free template just to check what should I do after buying a new one, without any luck - just some extremely basic, ugly stuff. Good luck. If you find something worthful, please PM me!
Guest
"You get what you pay for" is frequently the case when it comes to templates. Having said that, there are some template sellers that sell poorly coded templates that are extremely hard to customize for those people who are inexperienced. The example above doesn't mean you purchased a poorly coded template, it simply means you didn't apply the security patches to it when you installed it. Chris Chris, which security patches are they, are they from osCommerce or from a 3rd party. I am installing my self modified osCommerce site in about a week, and I am very interested in taking as much precautions as possible without spending a lot of money. I am a novice in using osCommerce (but have watch and practiced a lot of online tutorials on the subject) and new to world of E-commerce.
