vjboc
Hello I have an oscommerce website. I just purchased a licensed script for another website. It is an affiliate website. The developer said the commissions are 100% mine. I searched through the links and all the ID's are mine. The question is, can this developer make things change on my website in any kind of way, through a DLL file or in any other fashion? Thanks for your help in advance. Guest
Vinny, The term affiliate implies you are selling for someone, or someone is selling for you and for that a percentage is given to the affiliate or received from the affiliate. So, I don't understand how you could receive 100% of anything. As an affiliate you would receive a percentage.... Could you clarify your question ? vjboc
Chris, It is a Shopzilla affiliate site. I do split the commission with them. The script I bought is a third party script that I paid for and was told by the developer that I would get 100% of the commission, meaning he wont add his affiliate id anywhere. Really the question is, Can the developer of the website change id's or such through a dll file or any other way? When I check the properties of the links, all my ID's are there. I was just wondering if something could change on click. I hope I explained it right.
Guest
Vinny, If all the ID's are yours, then without code changes I don't believe any commissions could be altered. Chris
