audioproman
I have a additional images on my website which shows additional image on the product page. This extra image part of the site has stopped working, it has been working for the last 12 months but has stopped showing images in the past few days why I have no idea??. The site is running OK it just that a lot of the products I put on there need the extra images. The product image shows but anything else doesn't. The images that I have added are showing in the data base in the additional image file. I really can't work this out, it's as if the extra images aren't there and it just displays the product image only. They are there when you go to edit the product in admin. I don't know what contrib it is but it is similar to the ones on this site - I think it may have been written by my ex PHP programmer. Any thoughts would be good to hear. Many Thanks Stuart
Guest
Hi, Have you checked that the images are still on your server, can you view them in a web browser using a direct url, and have you done any code editing before you lost the images? Jlewis Hi Jlewis Yes the images are there, if I type http://www.mydomain/images/thumbnails/ it lists all the images, and all the re sized ones as well I did do some code editing a few weeks back but it was nothing to do with images and the images have been working up until recently, I did go into the data base and looked at the additional field as it shows the most recent images that have been put on, I have been thinking that it's these tat have caused the problem. I have even thought that it was to do with the browser as I have had many fire fox updates recently, but it's not that. Really lost on this one, hope someone can help? Guest
Stuart, Did any of the changes you did recently involve jqueries ? Because I believe the additional images contribution uses a jquery for the function of the images on the product_info.php page. Chris

Chris Hi Chris You are a star - I went back to a recent back up of product_info.php the files were a different size so I over write the file with the backup file and it worked. I did have play with product_info.php a while a go now, something to do with alignment of buttons I recall. Compared the 2 file and there was a little bit of code missing. Chris I just want to say a big thank for the help - you are a great credit to the forum, it's guys like you that make life a happier place - thank you.
