I don't want customer info seen Thanks John From the coder's point of view, you will have to provide FTP access and access to the osCommerce Admin panel in order for them to look and fix. Otherwise, if you don't want to provide FTP access, they will ask for a database backup and the site files to restore it on their side in order to do the work. So basically, you will have to provide some access in order for the coder to do what you require.
ozstar
Thanks for that, but is there anyway I can stop them seeing the customer info if I give them the ftp and admin details. John

John Not really, best is to try to get a coder that you trust not to wreck your store and/or abuse your data. Alternatively, if you had installed an addon for the editor, you could ask that the coder fix the issues for that addon on his own test database and then provide you with the changes so that you could apply them yourself.
