Products not Searchable or Exportable

Rob Emmet

Recommended Posts

I have a store with 28,852 products. None of the products after SKU 27,405 show up in the search results when I search for them using the osCommerce search function. Coincidentally, the Froogle export from Easy Populate and the Googlebase export from a separate add-on do not export records after that SKU either.

The products following the SKU in question are visible on the website, just not searchable or exportable.

I've checked the data in MySQL, repaired the product and product description table and deleted several products immediately preceeding and following the SKU that is the stop point to eliminate the possibility of corrupt data.

Any thoughts?

Small Integer has a max value of 32767, so it is not that.

Very strange. I just added the products I deleted yesterday to the end of the table (Same products_model, new product_id) and those products are searchable, but the others are not. There is now a range of non-searchable products. It does not just stop at one product.

I suppose a work-around could be to delete and re-add the products in the specified range, but I'd really like to know what's happening.
