hype1
Hi, I have downloads enabled in the admin panel. I have one product which must be downloaded. When I am at this product page I press the add to cart button so OsCommerce will now show my shopping cart. Unfortunately the product has not been added and says it is empty. When I remove the download attributes from the product, there is no problem. Any ideas what is going on and how to solve this are very much welcome :)
hype1
A test environment where this is happening can be found here: http://www.bekijkzeeensalsmensen.nl/shop/index.php When you click on the E-Book, you can add the book to your cart (dutch: "in winkelwagen"). After this the shopping cart opens saying it is empty. This is such an important feature of the shop so I really hope some one can help me out here. hype1
Resolved by doing a clean re-install. Still a mystery what went wrong. :)
hype1
Finally found out what is going on. A downloadable product will only add to the card when product options AND option values are set in the admin. This sounds like a bug to me because people might not want to use options and option values for products. I know I wouldn't.
♥14steve14
You have to create an option for downloads. Otherwise how does oscommerce know that its a downloadable item. It may be clever, but not that clever. REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP
