Funtime
Hi, I have recently install OSC RC2 and STS. This is working fine and thanks to "germ" I have got the cart multiples quantities working as i needed to. I am now realising that i have missed a fundamental part of the site that we need out. I need to beable to set the prices so that the standard prices without logging in is 1 price, but then, depending on the customer the prices could be different. From looking around SPPC seems to be the best (even only) way to do this. Problem is I started doing the intergration and managed some how to mess the whole site up. So after hours of trying to sort it out (I did do a backup, but it wouldnt reinstall without problems) I am now back to nearly where i started and was hoping someone might be able to help me... I have looked around for help already but cant seem to find any. If someone is able to help i would be really grateful. Many Thanks James
Guest
James, SPPC is a complex contribution which affects most every aspect of the core code. In most cases, it is more prudent to install SPPC first and then all your other compatible contributions. I say compatible contributions because SPPC is not compatible with many others. Contributions that are compatible have been marked as such. Search the contribution are for "SPPC" to see what is available. So, if you have almost started over anyway. I suggest doing so and installing SPPC first. If not, you may end up hiring a developer and paying him/her hundreds of dollars to install it. Edit: STS is NOT one of the compatible contributions. Funtime
Thanks for your reply. Unfortuantly i dont think it will be quite that simple as i have already completed most of the alterations and got STS running smoothly (And properly backed up) I managed to get most off the coding working, it was just a couple of files that i could not work out where i needed to change. I will give it another go today and if i still hit a brick wall then it may end up that i do have to pay someone to do the changes. The problem is i wouldnt know where to start to find someone that would do the changes and wouldnt charge the earth... It there are some other people online that have done what i am doing then maybe they might be able to help. Thanks James
