speagle1 Posted February 10, 2011 Share Posted February 10, 2011 I posted on this before with no luck but I don't know where else to turn because it seems no one else knows anything about OScommerce so here I go again, I am using a template from algozone.com(how stupid of me) that is specifically for OScommerce and I have used it before and it at least has always worked fine before but just this week when I installed the payment module paypal checkout express via the admin panel I was unable to process transactions any longer and in fact the site was looping at the payment information page right before it redirected to paypal for the credit card info. I had this problem the first time I installed the payment module when I first bought the template a year ago and I can remember fixing the problem was something simple like creating the redirect page for paypal or something stupid like that but this time doing that didn't fix it and I am trying everything and NOTHING is fixing it and I had my hosting company ipage helping me and they got it to the point where it redirected to paypal last night but when you put the credit card info in and click finish transaction it would send you right back to my site to the "verify shopping cart contents" page and the product would be there in the cart still and the order never processed. I tried it a few hours later after I created the redirect page for paypal and then it's looping as it did the first time again at the payment information page... What a friggin nightmare!! paypal doesnt know how to help me, algozone doesnt know how to help me either, ipage doesnt know how to help me on top of it, no one seems to respond to anything I ever say on here and to top it off I can't even find people to pay who are OScommerce specialists because I can't find any OScommerce specialists! My name is Art and I am happy to assist you. When using Express Checkout after the customer is sent to PayPal to enter their credit card information or login to their PayPal account the customer is returned to your site to complete the payment. Your shopping cart is never making the required API call to complete the payment. SetExpressCheckout GetExpressCheckoutDetails DoExpressCheckoutPayment These are the API calls that are made for the complete process.
