Guest
Firstly I’m new here so don’t want to start with question before saying hello to everyone. Sorry i realised I had posted this under v3.0 so I have added it here for the correct version. I’ve installed the OS-C and alls gone well so far. I am new to this so please excuse me if I’m asking old hat stuff. My products have different postal prices, i currently have prices denoted by letters A B C etc. So far it appears that one postal charge can be entered for all? Is there an add-on or a way I can use my lettering bands so that as an item is added to the product list I can say what postal band its in and then have that show correctly in the checkout. Well thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to try and help, hope my gibberish makes sence :'( and hope to be about a bit more in the future. Mort-lemur
Hi, Make your bands equate to weight for shipping purposes then create the shipping table based on the weight bands. For multiple zones have a look at the multi-geo zone, multi shipping contribution, which again can be set up to calculate shipping on weights. Thanks Now running on a fully modded, Mobile Friendly 2.3.4 Store with the Excellent MTS installed - See my profile for the mods installed ..... So much thanks for all the help given along the way by forum members.
Guest
Hi Mort, Thank you for you’re reply much appreciated. Using weight as a band might just work  , if I can work it out :D Thanks for the heads up on the Multi-Geo. I needed the band categories because one of my suppliers is dropshiping; I only know the bands ie. (A,B,C £1.99) (C,D £2.99) etc each item having a letter so I know the postage charge: I never know the weights of the items and of course don’t see them to weigh them. Ill go and look at what you’ve suggested, hope I’ve read you right here and see if I can equate weights to represent the bands, wish me luck ;)
