Can This be Done? Order Total Changes

Mort-lemur

Hi,

I have posted a couple of questions recently regarding tax / Vat on invoices. Now I think I know the correct question to ask!

Currently My invoice shows:

Sub Total (inc Vat))

Shipping (inc Vat)

Total (Inc Vat)

Vat amount Included in above

Would it be possible to change this to:

Sub Total (Exc Vat))

Shipping (Exc Vat)

Vat amount

Total (Inc Vat)

Thanks

Thanks,

But that still shows the sub total and shipping lines including Vat / Tax.

Ok,

I have got very close to what I want to achieve now by using the Display Sub_total Exc Tax Contribution: HERE

I have just one problem remaining, which relates to the shipping cost.

I need to show:

Sub Total (exc)

Shipping cost(exc)

Vat amount

Total

Currently I can only show the shipping including vat, If I exclude the vat from the shipping module charge then it is not included in the Vat calculation.

Can someone please help with this??

Many Thanks

OK, Back to square one !

The contribution I mentioned above stops paypal from working, only the shipping amount is passed over.

There must be a way to do this, I cant be the only one needing to show my invoice with:

Shipping (exc vat)

Sub Tot (exc Vat)

Vat amount (for shipping and Sub Total)

Total (inc Vat)

Thanks

Ok,

It looks like the order total module is a bit of an unknown to most, so I will have to try to create a modified one of my own (recipe for disaster!).

Before I satrt could someone advise me where mathmatical calculations are carried out in OSC?

Many Thanks

Heather, can't help on your last question, I'm afraid but...

I did have my first post office VAT receipt yesterday, there are 3 rates of VAT being used in the postal service: Standard Rate, Zero Rate and Exempt

Any module is going to have to reflect this I would have thought

My store is currently running Phoenix 1.0.3.0

I'm currently working on 1.0.7.2 and hope to get it live before 1.0.8.0 arrives (maybe 🙄 )

I used to have a list of add-ons here but I've found that with the ones that supporters of Phoenix get any other add-ons are not really neccessary

Hi,

No it is more simple than that, if you are VAT registered then All your shipment charges should be plus VAT to your customer in the UK according to the HMRC website even if the post office does not charge Vat to you.

Thats why i want to show subtotal and shipping excluding vat, then add Vat on as a single line, because if I show the shipping including Vat then I think it will scare customers away.

Thanks
