CopesDistributing
Are their any options to enable wholesale and retail pricing in os commerce? We are currently running os commerce 2.2, I would like to update it to the latest release. Thanks Rodney
Guest
Rodney, SPPC is available for 2.2 RC2a, but is not currently available for v2.3.1. Chris
CopesDistributing
Thanks Chris, I don't think that module was available when we first installed OS commerce in 2007. We had a programmer modify our site to enable this wholesale and retail pricing. This was before I came to work for our company. The programmer left no details on what files he modified so other than looking thru each individual file I don't think there is any way for me to find this out. I'd like to update our site to a later release or at least put a different template on our site to improve the look, but I'm unsure what files it would overwrite. Is there any place where this would be listed? I do have a 2nd site that is a mirror of our main site so I can play arround with it and see what works. Thanks so much. Guest
Hi Rodney, SPPC has been around since 2002 and to my knowledge is the only multi group pricing contribution available for OSC. As of right now, SPPC is not available for version 2.3.1 but you can create a secure, updated cart using RC2a and SPPC using a variety of templates or custom themes. Because you have a modified site, you would need to do a manual installation which means you would not be over-writing any files.
