Guest Posted March 8, 2003 Share Posted March 8, 2003 First off, I would like to add that I am aware of the custom computer module, i installed it and it did not function in the way that I want. What I am looking to do is this: I am working on a site for a sign business. In addition to selling premade signs, I think it would be neat to have a "request for quote" type system. By this I mean, they would go to this custom sign builder, and first off choose what they want, sign, banner, vehicle lettering, vehicle magnets, etc. after choosing which product they want, it would be able to break down into the different options available based on their decisions (colors, size, fonts, etc.) The idea behind doing this is to save time on the phone describing different options to the customer. After the customer has selected their options, provided the text they would like on any given line and if necessary, having the ability to upload a custom image to be included on a sign, the request would be submitted and the customer would then receive a quote from the store owners after they evaluate the request.
