1146 Table .configuration' doesn't exist

Can someone help me with this error please! i cant figure this out.

 

1146 Table .configuration' doesn't exist

in:

[select configuration_key as cfgkey, configuration_value as cfgvalue from configuration]

[MrPhil]

Go into phpMyAdmin and browse your osC database. Are all the other tables there? There should be somewhere around 47 tables on a new installation. Is just "configuration" missing, or can you not find many/all of them? It's interesting that the error message doesn't say your account name (usually that comes before the .configuration), so I'm wondering if there is a general database problem. How did you install osC? Did you create a database for it, and put the appropriate information into the configure.php files so osC can find and use the database?

 

This sort of support question doesn't belong it "Chit-Chat". Next time please put it in the correct General Support area (2.x or 3.x version of osC).
