Customer Discount Mod V 1.1

I have just installed the Customer Discount V 1.1 Module.

Put the 2 files in thier proper directories and ran the sql query specified on the customers table.

 

set my test subjects %discount to 50.0 in the new feild in the customer database with phpMyAdmin

 

set module to active in my OSC admin section

 

Sort Order

Customer Discount 15

Low Order Fee (not used)

Shipping 30

Sub-Total 10

Tax 20

Total 50

 

When i filled a cart and went to checkout- no difference in total.

Not even on the last page.

Where did I go wrong?

If you try it please use the COD option and put "this is a test" in the comments box of he confirm order page.

 

This is the last Mod I need to make, If i get it to work, then I will look really good at work.

 

PS: maybe there is a better solution for me out there.

The sunglasses are sold at discounts up to 50% for our biggest customers.

But the profit on our displays is not so great. Is there a way to have some items available for the customer specific discount, and others not?

I imagine this would use the Product Classes, although I have not investigated this much yet. Something like a flag in the product that disallows discount, then (sum of discounted)+(sum of NOTdiscounted)=subtotal

 

Any help?
