longhorn1999 Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Hi everyone, It's been well documented (or at least opined) that most of the important pieces of info on a page should be 'above the fold'. This is not always realistic, especially on product pages, and so it's recommended that there at least be an 'add to cart' button above the fold, in addition to the one at the bottom of the page. Way back when I installed Spooks' Simple Multi Images with FancyBox popups, and so my product_info.php is pretty heavily modified. I do like the jquery-based popup effect, but ideally the product pages would have a layout closer to this. It'd be nice to have a large primary image on the left, a separate box with basic details (product name, model, price) and an 'add to cart' button on the right, and the product description below as it is now. It may simply be an issue of copying and pasting and rearranging a bit of code, but it's definitely a bit confusing. What I'm wondering is, has anyone done this on their own, and if so, would you mind sharing your product_info.php file and/or a screenshot/link here? I didn't see any contributions that fit the bill, though I'm sure that there are many great product pages out there built with osC. I'm not posting my own file here just yet as it's long, but I will if anyone wants to see it. Thanks for the input, Nick
helpme:( Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 If you take a look at the "product info qty box v.1" contribution you may find what your looking for. You will have to manually add the code yourself, as you mentioned your product page is heavily modified. http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/4865
