Your host should provide you with a valid username/password so that the installation routine will create the database and populate it with sample data. Once you get the files uploaded you go to www.yourhost.com/install or www.yourhost.com/catalog/install or whatever is appropriate for the directory you installed osC within. I understand thank you I hve used Ebay clone and I sill have to create a sql database Im sorry I am a little rusty when it comes to that so please forgiv me
redskins2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Author Posted November 11, 2010 Ok one more thing about permissions I finally figured out where I pasword protect my public html files but now when I go into the configure php i cant seem to find where it allows me to Set permissions to 0777the current permission is set to rw-r--r-- I really hope hat this is the last time I have to ask questions about this part because I sure do feel like a moron. I really want tpo thank you you have been right on the money and someone like me really appreciates you.
