nataliaa Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Hi! I have recently started working with osCommerce and will be using the webshop for selling mostly cakes and other bakery products. I have a question regarding setting up the weight of a product- couldn't find info about it, so just in case there has already been a topic like that, sorry. Is there any chance that a customer could just set own weight he wants to order? For example, if I'm selling a cheesecake and just set that the minimum weight anyone can order is 0,2kg and they could just fill out a form and say that they are ordering 0,5kg? And then the osCommerce would automatically caluculate the price of that 0,5kg based on the price for 1kg of the cheesecake? I hope I make myself clear, as I don't know how to explain it better ;) Thanks in advance for your help. Natalia
FIMBLE Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Hi Natalia You could use product attributes (admin >> catalog >> Product attributes) to set this up, you would need to set it out as you like and then the customer can choose the amoun to order Nic Sometimes you're the dog and sometimes the lamp post [/url] My Contributions
