Harald Ponce de Leon Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 Hi Gary.. Thanks, that has been fixed. (That, btw, was an internal field to mark add-on developers :)) Kind regards, , osCommerce
FIMBLE Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Hi Harald, Like the new forum, it is an improvement on the last for sure, A few things though.. the link to add ons has gone, is this to be replaced again? Last night i had trouble logging in via my HTC Mobile, i logged in then was redirected to my normal home page, i treid it again and this time it worked fine. All we need to do now is remove those pointless Reputation points :-) Nic Sometimes you're the dog and sometimes the lamp post [/url] My Contributions
burt Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Hi Harald, the rest of the forum seems to be working OK. Now that we have a new forum, and 2.3 arriving imminently, could we also get a set of new moderators? Looking at the people on this page; http://www.oscommerce.com/about/team and in particular the date of each person last activity in the forum; Anders Pamdal: Mar 24 2009 07:27 PM (18 months) Chris Dunning: Dec 30 2009 06:34 PM (11 months) Melinda Odom: Jul 02 2010 02:40 PM (5 months) Andrew Yuen: Nov 08 2008 05:37 AM (2 years ?!!??) Surely, to present a better image, get some moderators who are able to the job as well as Jan. I fully understand that people do this for free, and we all have a life to lead - but these 4 moderators listed above appear to have done nothing for anywhere between 5 months and 2 years.
Harald Ponce de Leon Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 Hi Nic.. A few things though.. the link to add ons has gone, is this to be replaced again? The links are back up. The "Forum" link has been removed to make place for the Documentation link. The osCommerce Forum image logo can be clicked on to return to the index page. All we need to do now is remove those pointless Reputation points :-) Negative points are no longer possible, and it is now possible to click on the post point number to see a list of users who added a point Kind regards, , osCommerce
FIMBLE Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Thanks Harald, I agree with Gary about Moderators and have said in the past its time for new one's to take over from where the previous lost interest. I notice on the German forum you have a much better spread of Moderators, even if this is all they do and not add code. Right now you have Mark, Jan and yourself trying to do it all! ♥Biancoblu Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Harald there used to be a button to get to each poster's addons, beside the add as friend and pm buttons, has that gone or is it just me that's missing it? How do I see all the addons of a particular member? ~ Don't mistake my kindness for weakness ~
Harald Ponce de Leon Posted November 11, 2010 Author Posted November 11, 2010 Hi Isabella.. That, and the Add-Ons tab in members profiles, will be back soon. Until then, all Add-Ons a developer has uploaded can be seen at the Add-Ons site. Kind regards, , osCommerce
♥Biancoblu Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Thanks Harald, and I know this is off topic but congrats on version 2.3, great job. ~ Don't mistake my kindness for weakness ~
multimixer Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 I'm not sure, but it looks to me like the sorting of new content is not working correctly. For example on page 1 of new content, first place (=newest post) I see a post made at 11:58 On page 3 I see several posts made after that Am I missing something? EDIT: I also see the post I just made here, appearing at page 3 of the "new content" My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
♥Biancoblu Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 new content doesn't appear to be working correctly for me either, many posts are missing. ~ Don't mistake my kindness for weakness ~
♥geoffreywalton Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Has anyone else noticed this. I like to look back over the last few days and see if there are any topics I replied to where there has been a response to a post I made or ony posts where I can help. After logging on select osCommerce Community Support Forums Then go to to the bottom of the page and select Today's active content Then go to to the bottom of the page and select week This shows all posts from the last week in all forums. Note the first item shown and go to page 2 I get 2 items with a date time after the one at the top of page 1. In the previous version all the items were in date time sequence, now it appears to be in several date time sections, I have yet to work out if it is date time within forum but suspect it is. Any chance of getting this changed? ♥Biancoblu Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Harald please can you help? Some of my updates have deleted themselves of their own accord....unless someone got into my account?...unless a moderator deleted my updates? but there was nothing wrong with them at all. Any light you could shed would be helpful. Thank you. Isabella ~ Don't mistake my kindness for weakness ~
Xpajun Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Negative points are no longer possible, A great pity because there are some posters who are answering posts without regard to the OP's question that could do with a few negative points  My store is currently running Phoenix 1.0.3.0 I'm currently working on 1.0.7.2 and hope to get it live before 1.0.8.0 arrives (maybe 🙄 ) I used to have a list of add-ons here but I've found that with the ones that supporters of Phoenix get any other add-ons are not really neccessary
