kennyli Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 I have installed the PayPal Express from "osc_PayPal_v180" and everything seems working, except, when I click "Check Out with PayPal" and the information from the shopping cart will not pass to the PayPal site! As you can see from the picture attached, passing the payee address ([email protected]) is working, but not the Item Description and also Current purchase! Guys, please help! Quote

Did something in paypal change again? This has happened to me before, but I thought I had fixed it definitively. Customers get pissed when this happens. Please help. Guys, please help! this module will not pass the description, read more about PayPal Express checkout option on PayPal website and you will get it! The module is developed to checkout and pay for whole order without any description! if you want to see description you can use PayPal IPN module and you will need to set it to "Per Item". I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Mailware Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 If your order description and payment summary is not appearing on the checkout page, you probably need to add some parameters to your Paypal express checkout site. If you go to <https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=developer/e_howto_api_ECCustomizing>, there are instructions on how to customize your Paypal express checkout page by adding parameters, so that you can incorporate order details into your express checkout flow.
