Flightfanatic1 Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Hello, I have a client who wants a ecommerce website with a wholesale section and a retail section. Is there any way that I could do this? For example, have them register and log-in to be able to buy at wholesale price.. But keeping the wholesale section non viewable to the public.. I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advanced!
Collines Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Look for the contribution SPPC. (Seperate pricing per product). This does the job.
Flightfanatic1 Posted November 7, 2010 Author Posted November 7, 2010 Oh ok thanks for the quick reply! Would that be on the forum or on the oscommerce website?
Guest Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Dillon, I must warn you that doing a SPPC install on an already configured site is NOT for a novice. I do not know your skill level with PHP but if you are not experienced you may find it relatively difficult to install this contribution. The usual warning applies: BACK UP ALL FILES AND DATABASE BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THIS INSTALLATION Chris
vmf08034 Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I have installed sppc and it works fine, But i do not find the file where to put the email address of the administrator so he can be informed of a new customer and change customer group Thanks
Guest Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Vicente, SPPC does not have that feature. The onus is on the store owner to manage the customer groups manually. Chris

Chris Chris, Thank you for your reply. I have installed SPPC in another web store and it does that.(the thing of it is that i do not remember how i did it) when somebody signs as commerce we get an email saying...go to admin and change customer group for this customer so he can access commerce prices. Again thanks for your reply
