ufodepot Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 It says to put the above line to create a CRON job, but it doesn't say where to put it. I am not very savy at this stuff. Can someone please tell me exactly what file and where in the file this line should be put. Thank you, Hope Quote

Guest Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Hope, After you secure your site as Jim suggested, you use your hosting provider cpanel to put the CRON JOB in. cpanel's differ but you should find it pretty easy. Chris Quote
blr044 Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Pay close attention to "SECURING THE ADMIN" - Yours is vulnerable. Jim, I've noticed in the past where you would state that a site is vulnerable. I do have to admit your knowledge of osc and php is way greater than mine. So not to sound dumb or anything, when you visit these sites, what do you see or look for? I do have many of the securities installed and I keep hoping my site is never hacked. So far, so good, knock on wood! Thanks in advance. Bennett Quote
germ Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 If the admin folder hasn't been renamed, protected by a .htaccess file, and still contains the file_manager.php or define_language.php files (unmodified originals) it can be hacked in a heartbeat at any moment.
