I am seeking a good coupon add on for my web site. I posted in the add on forum ( http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/topic/366378-which-coupon-add-on-do-you-use-are-you-happy-with-it/ ) but got no response.

I'm trying to find the best mod out there for adding coupons to the site.

I'd like to be able to at very least discount the entire site with one coupon for black friday. What is the best coupon mod for 2.2?

I am only vaguely familiar with coupons but you are asking an impossible question. The best coupon mod is the one that does what you want. Sometimes you just have to try several that sound close and give them a go. Plan on spending several hours in research and testing.

PS make sure you keep a working backup on hand. This is the stuff that makes it fun, stretches your imagination, and increases your knowledge.

How do you know when you know what you want to do for the rest of your life?

Hi there, I can't say its the best because I've not compared it to others but I use discount_coupon_codes_3_34. It takes some time installing, lots of work doing that for sure.

But it's effective and flexible, so for example for your Black Friday event you could make a one day coupon.

The customer would have to enter the coupon code at checkout to get the discount.

It's here

Good luck

I am not a professional webmaster or PHP coder by background or training but I will try to help as best I can.

I remember what it was like when I first started with osC. It can be overwhelming.

However, I strongly recommend considering hiring a professional for extensive site modifications, site cleaning, etc.

There are several good pros here on osCommerce. Look around, you'll figure out who they are.

Yeah, I was trying to avoid installing 10 different mods on a test server to find one I like. But I guess that's what I am going to have to do.

I wish the mod developers would spend 5 minutes writing being slightly more detailed with thir descriptions, but then again, it's free so who am I to complain? Thanks all for the help!
