Comments in checkout process

When going through the checkout process, if comments are added to an order, they are not saved in database

Cart has had several contribs added on to it, unsure when comments were last working.

 

Any ideas where to start?

Under the Add text box to checkout like comments add-on tab, there are instructions on how to fix the problem of customers adding new comments and the comments not saving during the checkout process. You are simply replacing the admin/order php, which should fix your dilemma.
