I don't know of a stock method to accomplish what you want. It would take a bit of custom programming to do exactly what you ask, I think. However, a good thumbnailer will provide you with the best chance of showing your products with the proper aspect ratio and they will be able to be enlarged in the product details properly.

Dear,Ok i Explain You What i want. for Example i have two categories products, 1st name is (Scissors) and 2nd name is (Bags)

Categories

Scissors image size is 200*500

Bags image size is 400*400

 

if i change size from admin area Product listing size, then evrey categories size same change,its means picture strech problem,so then Picture looking bad

Not easily possible.

Possible, and very easy. In your Admin, set the category image width and height to blank (delete the value from the box and save.) Your images will show in the size you saved them. Use your graphics program to resize the images if you need to.

Use different images for your categories. There are several Addons that allow you to use different images for your category page, product info page, and popup. They work much better than asking the browser to resize your image.

 

And please don't shout. It's rude.

Hey,I have left only WIDTH with the value I want, and left Empty the HEIGHT, or viceversa, but the results is that it fits the size of a picture to only one of the measurements and the other resizes automatically without distorting the image. Check it out on my web page : eshop.wow.mx
