johnnyosc
Hello Guys, I was wondering if any experience users with phpdev know how to set permission to certain files in phpdev. I usually use an ftp to set all my permission to my osc files that are located on a host server. Also can you use ur ftp program to ftp to your localhost? Maybe i can set my permission that way but im not sure how to set the settings. I use filezilla as my ftp client. If you can help me it would be great. Thanks, Johnnyosc
Waza04
Hiya, You can use your FTP prgram to FTP to localhost, so long as you have an FTP server (Like Serve-U-FTP) installed as well as the FTP Client (Like CuteFTP)... But to set Read Only permissions etc, in windows, Just browse to the file, Right-Click, Properties and check 'ReadOnly' Warren
mattice
Guess whos back :) I don't use Windows but I think it is simply a matter of right clicking the file and (un)checking READ-ONLY Same goes for directories AFAIK HTH Mattice "Politics is the art of preventing people from taking part in affairs which properly concern them"
