Hi All first post so hope its ok.

There are add-ons to remove the "buy" buttons, they also need to remove the registration links.

So it can display all your products and prices but not allow purchasing.

Add a "user must log in to see prices" add-on/contribution.

Cheers

Anyone can register as a customer, so you will need to do something to limit who can sign up. What you might consider doing, if the number of authorized viewers is reasonably small, is to simply password protect your entire store (via your site host control panel). Then you can issue IDs and passwords to whoever you want to view your price list, and everyone else (and search engines) will be kept out. Your admin directory ID/password would be something separate, given out to no one else. If no one is purchasing from your price list, you don't need anyone signing up as a customer -- the password protection on the store's root directory will be sufficient to control access.

If this is a price list only (that you want visitors to be able to search, and display products, etc.), there are add-ons to turn a store into a catalog (disables the shopping cart and checkout).

thanks for this i will use the root protection as there will not be to many people who will get access.

thats when i can get the prices to show!
