Hi everybody.

What is the easiest way to import products from an XML file into osCommecre? And does it include updating references like price, when run again?

The XML looks like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<products xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="PriceList.xsd">

<group name="">
</group>
<group name="Software">
<product id="634">
<name>Adobe Premiere Elements UK V8</name>
<stock>Yes</stock>
<weight>0.5</weight>
<model>650</model>
<shortDescription>Adobe Premiere Elements - ( v. 8 )h</shortDescription>
<manufacturerName>Adobe</manufacturerName>
<manufacturerURL>http://www.adobe.com/</manufacturerURL>
<price>8793278</price>
</product><product

Thank you!

There are a couple of add-ons that import xml price lists to update prices.

Although they might need altering to read your suppliers format.

But does Oscommerce import XML files WITHOUT addons. ie where's the option to do so. I'm 2.3.1 and can't see a means of doing this.
