Problem with accessing the webstore and Chrome

I recently installed osCommerce v2.2 and I have two problems.

1.

If I try to access the webstore from a remote computer the layout is damaged, css is not working and there are "picture not found" icons in stead of the pictures that should appear. The links does not work either (customer login, checkout....). I tried installing on two different servers but have the same problem on both. If I access the webstore on the server (localhost) everything seems to be fine.

2.

When using the Google Chrome browser I can't login as a customer and the shopping cart is always empty. There is no problem with the admin section. This works fine in other browsers like IE and Safari.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I am having the same problem with Chrome. Any ideas, anyone?

I solved the issue by going to "admin --> sessions" and setting "recreate session" to true.

To help those still running into problems, you could also be having the issue of Chrome treating "braneconsulting.com" different then "www.braneconsulting.com". For me, it was generating a different session for each... and thus I had to make sure that in the configure.php file, that both the "HTTP_SERVER" and "HTTPS_SERVER" constants had the "www.". Otherwise I was getting different sessions depending on if it was on a secure page or not. (very sorry about triple post)
