spoofy Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Hello, We have an in-house inventory management system which I can easily link to oscommerce to auto-update. What I am trying to accomplish is this. Basically if the inventory on our in-house system is 0 I want to somehow update a database field for that attribute so that it will show as out of stock on the product page. Here is how I imagine it would work. Size: Small, Medium, Large Let's say Medium is out of stock. Product options database would have a field called product_attr_status. Default can be 1 (meaning in stock). All I would like to do is update that to 0 and product options would show out of stock. How can I accomplish that? I don't want to use QTPro as it's an overkill IF I can even get some ideas and feedback, I can code it myself. Just need a better understanding how the attributes system works. Thanks in advance.
