staunts Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Hi all, just wondering if some of you could help clarify a couple of things before we go ahead and install. 1) We need to setup our site so that all items will have an RRP (recommended retail price) but also have a "Your Price". Some of these "Your Price" fields will have a dollar amount, others will have "See X for a great price". Reason for this is that some of our suppliers are also competitors so we may not be able to reveal our sale price online. 2) Can we do some form of Wysiwyg editing on pages ? And add any pages we wish to the site ? cheers, Adam

I am using one of them and it works very well. As far as adding pages, yes again if I understand what you are trying to do. There are add on's for that as well, available on the osC site. There are also some "tutorials" to do this yourself manually, that's the approach I took, ie doing my own manual installation. The concept wtih osC is do it yourself with a lot of support from the forums. Good luck. I am not a professional webmaster or PHP coder by background or training but I will try to help as best I can. I remember what it was like when I first started with osC. It can be overwhelming. However, I strongly recommend considering hiring a professional for extensive site modifications, site cleaning, etc. There are several good pros here on osCommerce. Look around, you'll figure out who they are.
