Adding a new table to the advanced search

Hello people,

Im a new osCommerce user and I really Love this thing, the 2.2 version I have works like a dream, very well thought out and written IMHO. 8)

My issue is that I have added a new table to the database called products_details, this functions like the options attributes with the exception that only the admin can select info for here. In this case its extranious info for wine. eg. Varietal and Vintage.

I managed to make it display on the pages where this data was added for a particular product and not on produtcs that do not contion extra info (basically the same code that the options/attributes uses to do the same thing).

My issue now is: when using the advanced search feature, I have no clue how to add my new table to the search so it searches there as well. eg: Varietal = Stressed Grapes, I need my customers to be able to search for "Stressed Grapes" and return all wines of that variety. All the rest of the code in this script is relitively straight foward to me(im a semi-descent PHP programmer) but this advanced_search_results.php just eludes me compleatly.

:?: Is there a simple way to just add that table to the seach capability?
