sql import after site hacked

Hi all

 

I've just had to do a fresh install and database import after my site was hacked. The site is in both english and greek. The english characters asre displaying fine but the greek is now for some resaon comin out as ??????????

 

Nothing in the DB has changed as far as I'm aware so I haven't a clue what the issue could be. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be happening?

 

I used the admin tool to download the DB backup. I've open it to have look at the greek characters and they are all as they should be.

 

Any thoughts?

Open up your file manager in your cPanel and search for your Greek language files at /catalog/includes/languages/greek.php and /catalog/includes/languages/greek/*.php

 

Are they there?

everything was the same. I just uploaded all files again.

 

I actually just resolved it a minute ago. Originally I imported the DB back in using phpmyadmin. I've just used the site admin DB backup to 'restore' it again and everything's now fine. Doesn't tell me what the issue was but at least the crisis is over.
