Upgrading PHP to 5.3.2

I'm running an old osCommerce 2.2-MS2 with PHP 4.3.9 and MySQL 4.1.12

I want to upgrade my server PHP to 5.3.2 and MySQL to 4.1.20

 

After the upgrade, will 2.2-MS2 still work?

 

I will upgrade osCommerce is well but one thing at a time as this is a live store.

NO, MS2 will not work with versions of PHP 5.3.x. The store will require many updates in order to run on PHP 5.3.x.

I believe Jan Zongee posted a contribution with all the steps in it plus they are in the install package documentation.

 

Have done it several times, it is just a rather long laborious process where you have to slavishly follow instructions.
