Guest Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 Hi Robert/forum readers im trying to combine the effects of KissMT addon and the Custom_META_Tags_per_Item addon (http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,3726). What i'm trying to achieve is to have a default of meta tags output via KissMT but where in the admin area catalog (database) I have specifically set the meta tags for a given product or category using the custom meta tags per item addon then this overrides the KissMT meta tags and those are output instead. How can this be achieved or if anyone has already down this then i would be grateful for some advice. Thanks in advance! regards Dukes Quote

Thanks in advance! regards Dukes Robert mentioned in a different thread that you can add columns to the database so you can add meta tags via the admin panel without having to install a contribution. Im not sure if this is a straight forward procedure, if it is, could anyone share how this can be done????? Quote

However the Functionality you require is added using the addon I listed in My original post. I.e the custom meta tag addon. I posted the link to it. Install that addon and it does exactly as you state. I myself was looking to blend Features of kissmt and the custom meta tags addon. Regards Dukes Quote
