alwaysstressed Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 i have two questions. i have re written my includes/config.php file but all i get is a blank white screen any ideas? secondly if i do a clean install can i reuse my database from old install? thanks

I would suspect if it was working before you rewrote the config file then you have an error in it. Try posting it then someone might be able to spot it. If you backup or export your db then you can import it into your new one. This ofcourse presupposes they both have the same layout.
