freakystreak Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Not sure if this is possible but can you complete a search by not only using the product title and description but by also using the category name which the product is placed under? For example: a T0481 ink cartridge is placed under an Epson main category with a Styls R300 subcategory. If I search for T0481 I find the product but what if the user doesn't know the product model and just searches Styles R300? Where does the search query take place? I have looked in advanced_search.php and search.php but can't find where it gathers the search term and uses it to run the query. Ah, the world wide web. What a wonderful place.
