PayPal: Authorize instead of Charge for Website Payments Standard

I know the authorization/capture option is a standard feature of website payments pro. I am wondering how one can achieve this using website payments standard?

On the Website Payments Standard Integration Guide, there is a full how-to on using PayPal's authorization and capture feature. You can use the capture and authorize on the PayPal website or you may be able to use the API to program your own solution. I hope this helps to give some insight into your dilemma.
