How do I move the Special's box to main text area

Yes that was me. Sorry I didn't get that you were referring to my posting in the modification site. I downloaded the contribution and it worked great. I want to thank you very much for the information. :)

I would like to ask you one more question. How can I have a category box right on top of the new product box, with all my categories in there as a picture icon. Which, when clicked on, it will take you to that particular category. I would really appreciate your help with this, I have tried numerous suggestions, and some contributions and nothing seems to work.

I would have to see your site. I have no idea if you have modified it (as I have mine) or may be using a template. So, I really do not know where your 'New Products' box is. If I recall correctly it is in the main section, right in the middle of the page?

About 3/4 of the way through the file you will see a line of code like this:

 

} else { // default page

 

 

What follows is what you see on the main front page. Look for a line that may look like this:

 

require('products_new.php');

 

Look at the code above that and see if you can put it there...somewhere. I know of no contribution for that but that does not mean anything. No one knows them all. Someone else may know of one. You may have to design your own.

Try the Categories Images Box Addon. You can set the configuration in your store Admin to use only images.
