imran7 Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Hello All, i am very new to websites and even newer to oscommerce but i managed to create one, you guys can view it at: http://www.amedeoexclusive.com/index.php The website got hacked, hence the malerware error that comes up before you can view the website. I know there was some viruses that got on the website, i think i have cleaned them all up and asked google to recheck the website now, and google has informed me the website is clean. But the error is still being displayed. Does anyone know how i can get that error removed and the website back up without that error?? Also the website is is www.amedeoexclusive.com but that doesnt work thats why i said check www.amedeoexclusive.com/index.php above instead. Does anyone know how can get the website to point to amedeoexclusive.com instead of amedeoexclusive.com/index.php?? And finally i think the hackers changed my admin password. I can log into my ftp, and my control panel BUT i cant get into my admin and obviously i need that. So does anyone know how i can get the password or how i can change it or basically anything to get back into my admin?? i know this is alot to digest but yeah we've been hit hard and i am super stressed as our website has been down for 2 weeks now and i am super desperate. Any kind of help would grately be appreacited! Thanks so much in advance Imran
♥geoffreywalton Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 To get access to your admin, use phpmyadmin from your hosts control panel and delete all the records in your administrators table. Then when you log in next you will be asked for a new administrator name and password. Google is able to check the entire web for suspicious and dangerous pages. Google provides a free service for us to query the status of a page. Firefox 3 helps keep users safe by using this service to check pages you request. If Google says a page is dangerous, then it probably is. If you do not wish to trust Google's service, you may disable this feature in Firefox 3 like so: Open Tools > Options > Security Uncheck the option "Tell me if the site I'm visiting is a suspected attack site" So google still thinks your site is a riky place. I am starting by trying to get the admin password reseted, i got into my control panel and went to the phpmyadmin, but i am still not sure how to delete the records in the administrators table. I dont know where i can find the administrators table, can u please let me know where exactly it is from the phpmyadmin home page Thanks so much, i really appreciate it
Hotclutch Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 can u please let me know where exactly it is from the phpmyadmin home page Hi Recommend you ask your host for assistance, in case you accidentaly delete the table instead of the row(s). But in phpMyAdmin you will see your table on the left. You click once on the table you want to work on, in this case administrators. Then on your right you will see the table contents. It should not contain more than one or two lines, depending. There should be a red x next to each line to delete the row.
imran7 Posted October 13, 2010 Author Posted October 13, 2010 Thanks so much for your help. I got to the administrators table and i saw the one line of my password and user name and i clicked the red X next to it. So now there is no values in there. So now how do i reset the password and user name? like what should i do next? Thanks Imran
imran7 Posted October 13, 2010 Author Posted October 13, 2010 i deleted all the administrators info from the _osc1 database, should i also delete the administrators info from the _store database tab also?? and where should i log into the create the new user and password info? Sorry for all the Q's, and thanks so much for all the help Thanks again Imran
♥mdtaylorlrim Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Go to your store admin pages. When it sees there is not user or password it will require you to create one.
