daebat Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 I cannot assign any IDs or Classes to my divs. It works with the tables however. Is there a work around? Currently I have been hard coding the styles into the php files.

Currently I have been hard coding the styles into the php files. the site is located at http://cash4scrap.aquablueweb.com/index.php I've added a class "search-block" to the search block on the homepage. I have also added styles in the stylesheet (last line) both of which show up in firebug but do not respond.
tharring Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Have you looked into using CSS instead of tables for your whole osCommerce site? Doing that, you get all the css stylesheets already created for you and you just have to adjust the styles to what you want. I'm working on that now but can't find where you make the adjustments. I know I'll get there, eventually, with a little help. Maybe you'd like to figure it out too. For more information on the CSS conversion, go to this link: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/7263. Once there, click on "See 11 more downloads" and click on "OSC to CSS version 2", "Corrected instructions again" and "includes/modules/also_purchased". I think it's the next wave of osCommerce and you might as well get on board! Then when you figure out where to make the adjustments for the pages, let me know! Good luck, Tedra
