Does oscommerce have a box for upcoming products?

Hello, i noticed a file in modules for upcoming_products.

Where do these products appear in the layout??

Don't they have a box, such as specials,whats_new,shopping_cart etc??

 

Where can the customer find the list of upcoming products in the layout??

On a standard installation, it will appear on the front page, in the central column near the bottom

e.g. in many programs we can choose between custom or advanced installation.

Does oscommerce have advanced installation?

When a member refers to a 'standard' or 'non-standard' installation they are referring to a copy of osCommerce downloaded from this website as opposed to a purchased template. A purchased template would be a NON standard installation.

 

The Upcoming Products module is echoed on the index.php file only but you COULD place it elsewhere on the site by adding this code to the page:

 

 

include(DIR_WS_MODULES . FILENAME_UPCOMING_PRODUCTS);
