realvibez Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 i setup an oscommerce shop and am having multiple problems, first my admin page does not ask me for a login, i can just go right in and start editing the shop. i cant figure out how to make it require a login for admins. second problem is in the payments module it will not show any of the modules to add, eg. authorize.net or paypal but when i check on the server in the /catalog/includes/modules/payment/ folder all the php's are there. any help or advice you can give would be helpful. if you need me to post anything that will help figure out the problem please let me know Robert
web-project Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 have you set the paths correctly in configure.php files? Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
realvibez Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 have you set the paths correctly in configure.php files? I will post the configure.php file later to show how it was setup. i thought the settings would be setup when the install was done.
