web-project Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 some modules can be replaced with proper firewall protection on the server, the oscommerce attacked on the daily basis and good firewall on server can protect from majority of this attacks. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Some do the same as another. No need for both....some are not at all necessary. Some work, but is temporary and will only lock out the innocent.. some are quite necessary.
