cherishedmoments Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Ok, I'm not posting this because I have a question....I'm posting this to save someone else the aggravation that I just went through for 4 HOURS!!!! I went into my admin to change my shipping and the module just wasn't under "Modules" AT ALL! My shipping module was working with the last settings that I chose, but I couldn't make any new changes because the menu was just gone! I looked all over the forum all morning long and, finally, decided to post a question. Well, for whatever reason, right before I posted it, I closed out my admin and had to reopen it and, guess what?! IT MAGICALLY REAPPEARED!!!! Now, all you "computer smart" posters will say that I changed a file but I SWEAR I didn't touch a thing! In fact, when I told my mom about it (she co-owns our business with me) she said that it happens to her all the time! She said that something will be missing from our admin and she'll close it out and log back in and, viola! It fixes her problem! So.....to all you posters out there that might have a problem with something missing in your admin with no explanation, please try completely closing out of it and logging back in before you waste your time looking for a solution that could be an easy fix. Now, of course, if that doesn't fix it....then I'm sure you'll get help from the forum, but just try that first! Now I know why my late husband HATED computers!!!! He always said that they don't always do what they're supposed to! I'm starting to wonder how valid my argument was that my job (as a Registered Nurse) was harder than his "computer job"! ARGH!!!!! Much respect to all of you that understand this $%^&!!!! I know this forum is for questions but I just figured someone might come across my post later and find it useful.
